One, Two... Where's the Shoe? by Richard Rosenstein:Rudolf Steiner College Bookstore
A picture book that gives children their first taste of Spanish, Italian, German, and French by counting to nine in each language.
Every evening before snuggling into bed, Mr. and Mrs. Shoemaker’s ten children line up their shoes in a neat row. Then, one evening Mr Shoemaker only counts nine pairs of shoes. He gets his foreign friends to check, and they count them in their own languages: Spanish, Italian, German and French. Where are the missing shoes?
This book will give young children confidence to try counting in other languages.
