Speech and Speaking in the Classroom, by Roy WilkinsonAnn Wilkinson
Dr. Steiner repeatedly called attention to the importance of speech. He gave a series of speech exercises especially to the teachers of the first school, the Waldorf School in Stuttgart, Germany. The exercises were naturally given in German. Roy Wilkinson has now reproduced these exercises in English orthography so that in sound they are identical with the originals. He explains how they might be used throughout the school. In addition he has suggested suitable poems and prose passages for practicing speech with different age groups.
